Geothermal Pool Heating

Geothermal Pool HeatingGeothermal pool heating is the process of pumping water deep underground and back out in order to take advantage of the moderate temperatures underground to heat the water. This greatly improves efficiency and reduces operational costs over traditional pool heaters. By collecting heat from the ground, geothermal pool heating conserves natural resources and is more environmentally friendly.

When air temperatures dip below 50° F, traditional heat pumps have to work extremely hard to heat the water in your pool. Solar heaters are insufficient at these temperatures, not to mention they take up a lot of space. Geothermal pool heat pumps are up to 90% more efficient as other heat pumps and don’t require a lot of space since much of the equipment is underground!

Although it is true that installing a geothermal pool heating system is more expensive than traditional heat pumps, these systems save around 80% in operational costs. Geothermal pool heat pumps also require less maintenance and last longer so it’s a long term investment that will pay for itself over and over again!

Geothermal Pool Heating Customer Testimonial:

“My name is Scott A. Holtrey; I work for Collier county parks and recreation. I am a trades worker/Project Manager Associate for the aquatic department. I am responsible for all public pool facilities within our county. At these facilities, we have various heater and coolers from natural gas to electric to geothermal units. With this wide range of units, we need a vendor that could ensure us that the person or company could take care of our needs.

I first met Alex when he was working for a contracted vendor of ours. We had some issues with these new heaters that were an ongoing issue until Alex found the issue and corrected it. We never had the same issue again; it has been 3 years now to the date.

When I first learned that Alex had left the vendor and started his own company, I had to get his contact information and contact him. I wanted him to be the next vendor to have the exclusive rights to do all repairs on our heaters/coolers for our county. Alex is very professional and has great knowledge of his profession. He is also fair and honest and is a pleasure work with.

Thanks Alex!”
